Questions
Everything from made-to-measure and substrates to samples, trade accounts and delivery across Australia. Can't find what you need? The Melbourne showroom is happy to help.
What is made-to-measure wallpaper?
- Made-to-measure wallpaper is printed to the exact dimensions of your wall, rather than sold as fixed-size rolls that are trimmed on site. At Wall in Love, each LondonArt mural is custom-printed in Italy to your measurements, so the design lands precisely where it should with no awkward repeat break across the wall. Our pre-manufactured 3D textured rolls are the exception: they are supplied in fixed 53 cm and 106 cm widths and hung by matching the pattern repeat.
What wallpaper substrates do you offer?
- Eight specialist substrates, each engineered for a different environment: RAW (non-woven vinyl for residential interiors), BOLD (heavy-duty contract vinyl for high-traffic commercial and hospitality), GLASS WHITE (moisture-resistant fibreglass for kitchens and bathrooms), GLASS BLUE (a fully waterproof fibreglass rated for showers, pools and exteriors), GREEN (a PVC-free, recyclable eco substrate), SOUNDPROOF (an acoustic foam substrate rated αw 0.40), PANEL (digital print on aluminium with a handcrafted resin finish) and TEXTURED ROLL (pre-manufactured 3D embossed vinyl). We recommend the right material for each project rather than a one-size default.
Can I use your wallpaper in a bathroom or wet area?
- Yes. Two fibreglass substrates are engineered for moisture. GLASS WHITE is moisture- and mould-resistant and washable, ideal for kitchens, bathrooms and humid rooms. GLASS BLUE goes further with a fully waterproof system: it is the only substrate in the range rated for direct water contact and UV exposure, so it can be used in showers, around pool surrounds and on exterior facades.
Which substrates are fire-rated?
- Most of the range carries a European (EN 13501-1) or US (ASTM E 84) fire classification. RAW, BOLD and SOUNDPROOF are rated ASTM E 84 Class A, and the GLASS fibreglass substrates are rated B-s1,d0. BOLD is the contract-grade choice for high-traffic commercial and hospitality specification. Full certificates are published on each substrate's page, and we can supply the technical documentation your specifier needs.
Is your wallpaper suitable for commercial and hospitality projects?
- Yes. Commercial and hospitality specification is core to what we do. BOLD is a scrub-washable contract vinyl built for high-traffic hotels, offices, retail and restaurants; SOUNDPROOF adds acoustic absorption (rated αw 0.40) for offices, cinemas, meeting rooms and restaurants; and the GLASS substrates handle wet and high-humidity areas. We work directly with architects, interior designers and builders, and our installed projects span boutique hotels, restaurants, retail, workplaces and exhibitions.
Which designers and brands do you carry?
- Over 1315 designs from 54 Italian and international designers, including fashion-house collaborations such as DSQUARED2 and MARNI and studio work from Marcel Wanders and Elena Salmistraro. Wall in Love is the exclusive Australian distributor of LondonArt, one of Italy's most innovative wallpaper manufacturers, and also carries Zambaiti Parati textured collections.
Do you offer trade accounts for architects and interior designers?
- Yes. Our trade programme is built for architects, interior designers and builders, offering priority access to samples, technical substrate support and project pricing. As the exclusive Australian distributor of LondonArt, we maintain a direct relationship with the Italian production facility, which means accurate colour proofing and access to the full designer catalogue.
How does the 3D visualisation tool work?
- Upload a photo of your own room and preview any design on your walls at scale before you commit, so you can judge colour, pattern and proportion in your actual space rather than from a swatch. It is free to use on the website and works for the full catalogue.
How do I order samples?
- Request samples through the website or by contacting the showroom. We hold the complete substrate sample library and can arrange colour proofs for any design in the catalogue, so you can check both the material and the exact colour before placing an order.
Do you ship across Australia?
- Yes. Murals are custom-printed in Italy and shipped to any address in Australia. Our Melbourne team and showroom support the whole process (design selection, specification, sampling and delivery) from first idea through to installation.
Can I visit the Melbourne showroom?
- Yes. Our showroom is at 106 Barkly Street, St Kilda VIC 3182, open Monday to Friday 9:00am–5:30pm and Saturday 10:00am–2:00pm. It is designed as a gallery where you can see LondonArt murals at full scale and handle the complete substrate sample library. Appointments are welcome, or you can visit during gallery hours.
